So, we have Gore Vidal's heresy to blame for Michelle Bachmann. Naturally.

And from the United Kingdom: MP's wife denies stealing kitten. Politics is important.

The New Yorker has published an excellent and thorough article about Scientology. There are a lot of damning incidents cited in it and the incessant, repetetive denials by the 'church' are as credible as those of a man who insists that every woman who spurned his advances was really a lesbian, especially when they present evidence for L. Ron Hubbard's claims about his military service that include his winning medals that didn't exist when he was in the Navy.

"Communism is a vehicle created long ago by the International Banking Cartel..."
Edit: woops, wrong link.

I am linked to this page, which further informs me that
Some nutter wrote: Modern Communism is part of a Satanic conspiracy, which aims to bring to fruition a Totalitarian Police State, i.e., the Beast system of the Antichrist, aka, the New World Order. This plot was organized back in 1773...
Evidence will be produced to prove that Modern Communism was organized in the year 1773 by a group of International Money-Barons who have used it since, as their manual of action, to further their secret plans to bring about a Totalitarian Godless State. Lenin made this clear in his book Left Wing Communism.
Astounding.

Why would "money-barons" want to further communism? It seems like fomenting a revolution against aristocrats of wealth would go against their obvious class interests. And from what I know about Left Wing Communism, it is in fact an attack on competing tendencies of communism (those critical of the direction the Russian Revolution was taking) rather than a manifesto. Lenin detested the "left wing communism" described in the pamphlet.

if you buy into the totalitarian police state bit, the money-baron bit falls into place: communism -> totalitarian police state -> the money-barons, who have presumably become the leaders of the totalitarian police state, can get richer by exploiting the people, stealing shit, etc.

Depending on what your definition of "generated", it is CGI. It is post-processed on a computer, at least.

Christwire.org.
"The mean Pharoah of Foolishness has fallen and the Egyptian people are now free from a dictator. Now with Mubarak out of the mix, we can next cripple the Egyptian army with a mighty explosion that ushers in a new era of peace.

It is said that change is swift and just, so what fate could be a better change for Egypt than having them denounce their Pagan Islamic religion of terror altogether.

How silly is it that they bow before the throne of Ra and fear the imaginery growls of Anubis? Is decadence of their women so prevalent because they think they have to be Jezebels like Isis of the Nile? These qeustions are something that belong in a history book, reviewing an ancient people such as the wasp-waisted Minoans or worse the click-tongue Nigerian ancestors. If their decendants are still so primitive, just imageine, how backward they must have been?

We see Egypt nearly tore itself apart in the protests. They had not guns, so they used their innate bloodlust to break through solid concrete with their fists and then use these chunks to commit violence.

America needs to teach the children of pyramids to be admirers of the Pentagon. It is time for our friends in Egypt to fully embrace American democracy and a Christian Brotherhood, one where sharing is caring and neighbors are encoruaged to tell their friends, to share their nice oil more freely lest the wrath of God scourges their lands with nuclear heats."

And, from the same site:
Foursquare- the new gay weapon.
Further evidence that redheads are a deprived race and that Facebook is evil.
Cracked.com teaches children how to throw gay "furry" orgies.
Is Stephen Colbert a Closet African-American?
"Glee" is a gateway drug to homosexuality. I mean, Glee is fairly obnoxious, but really?

There is really not enough facepalm in the world for this site.

I feel obliged to point out that Christwire is a satire of the worst of the American Christian right, something that Rachel Maddow and The Huffington Post have both at times overlooked.

Gay Bands. Bob Dylan (the artist, I remind you, behind Saved), Frank Sinatra and Wesley Willis are trying to turn your children gay. Also trying to make you a homosexual, Eddy, is Ted Nugent. Luckily there are safe bands out there- like, say, Evanescence.

The United States Census has been releasing county population and racial demographic data for a few weeks now. Data for twenty six states have been released thus far and they intend to release the data for the whole union by early April.

And here I thought that the most repugnant thing about Orange County (California) was its 'Housewives', but that's just awful.

Pamela Geller, whom the video lists as a supporter of the confederation of wretches that sponsored the protest, is a horrible woman who is at the bleeding, screaming edge of conservative hatred of muslims. She is in the class of people who believe that the Arab revolutions are the beginning of a new caliphate and claimed at the Conservative Political Action Conference that it had been infiltrated by a Muslim Brotherhood Activist.
