Dalriada - Téli Ének
The song is very good, but the video is just awesome.

Hmmm, the video seems rather plain to me (if not on the kitschy side), just walking around on snow; I'm starting to kinda like the band, though. And the Hungarian when sung sounds so much more 'humanly'...

So take this body at sunset to the great stream whose pulses start in the blue hills, and let these ashes drift from the Long Bridge where only a late gull breaks that deep and populous grave.

They're a good band - the recent album "Szelek" is particularly accessible. The video, on the other hand, is just really badly done and is therefore awesome.

"La Banqueroute", La Bottine Souriante.

I first saw them live at Celtic Fest in Chicago several years ago, and I wouldn't miss their return engagement tomorrow night for anything.

Are you seriously coming on a linguistics forum while you're drunk? Maaaan, I'd be looking at naked men and shit.

I'd be doing that too, except my mom is in the next room and my door doesn't close. I instead spent most of my time drunk relentlessly flirting with every girl I know who was online, and also a few guys. The really fun part is that that probably did more to improve my social life than anything else I've done in the past few months.

Anyway, fuck yeah Apulanta.

I was going to write Kim Larsen - Ha'r du hørt? when I clicked, but it just finished, and now Kim Larsen - Mit et og alt started playing.

Just silence, at the moment.
I guess I'll have to start something that's not English for the sake of this thread.

Orka - Fjøllini standa úti.

Faroese, of course.

Bella Ciao - in Italian, of course
Image
"There was a particular car I soon came to think of as distinctly St. Louis-ish: a gigantic white S.U.V. with a W. bumper sticker on it for George W. Bush."
