ROA (Rise Of Artificial)

A cincea zi
Europa

I think Romanian is such a ridiculously sexy language. Maybe it's just this guy's voice, and all the [ɯ]. In both songs, the verses are better than the chorus.

I've not posted for a while in either of the listening-to threads, because the answer has been the same as my last post in the English thread: The Magnetic Fields. I now have a new musical fad though, DJ Dolores. He (yes, he) is Brazilian and mixes typically Brazilian music with modern DJ-ing type stuff. Like this, "Trancelim do marfim", one of my favourites:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XORTA8B07lQ

And I could listen to the Portuguese language all day.

What fun to encounter a fan of Portuguese language and music !
I cannot listen to your link now (am at the university) but judging from the title it might not be exactly my taste.

I love both traditional Portuguese fado but also Brazilian music as it's so soothing and happy and... tropical.

You might be pleasantly surprised by Dolores, his stuff is quite mellifluous.

I like fado too, BTW.

雨はりらりら (Ame wa rirarira) by ShibayanRecords

Melancholy Japanese electro. By the end of this 8-minute song the words "ri-ra-ra" have practically been engraved into my skull.

Adel Tawil - Wenn du liebst
A song for a broken person

Elif - Zirkus
I would never listen to music like this in English but I like this ... I've sent this to a few friends of mine who have insisted that German is an ugly language, and they've shut up after this.

Elif - Unter meiner Haut

Frauenarzt & Manny Marc mit Alexander Marcus - Florida Lady
Probably the best thing I've ever seen in my life.

Hamferð - Deyðir varðar (live version)
This song is so haunting. I like this version more than the doom metal original. It's in Faroese, which I had never heard before.

Deichkind - Denken Sie groß

(And here's the videoclip - it's pretty good but my pet hate is video clips that have random sound effects over the music that are not integrated into the song in any way.)

Been dipping into French pop music over the last week, latest two faves:

Emmanuel Moire - Beau Malheur
Also a song for a broken person, beautifully composed and a compelling listen; leaves me quite contemplative

Ycare - Sors
More upbeat, but just as thoughtful. Not quite taking his advice by sitting here listening to it on loop, am I, though...

I'm way more into Turkish pop music than anyone really should be.

Murat Dalkılıç - Yani

Murat Dalkılıç - Bir Güzellik Yapsana

And now for something quite different ...

Hayko Cepkin - Paranoya

Grup Hepsi. Amazing. ;)

I'm listening to Apulanta. They're a Finnish band that I adore. They're the only reason I'd want to know Finnish (besides Star Wrek: In the Pirkning). I want their CD.

This is the second time that Kraftklub's been in this thread ... but the first time that I've been in their video clip. Who can spot me?

I would like to share this band I just found on youtube, Santiano. They are Germans who play epic folk music and play their instruments well (or so thinks a layman). The song I like the most by them by them for now is Frei wie der Wind.

I really like to listen to traditional Czech-Slovak folk songs, especially by certain music bands...maybe that reflects the true face about some parts of my spirit?
