Really? It's very common around here. Most people I know have heated floor in at least one of their bathrooms, if they have more than one, and if they just have one, it tends to be heated. Unless they live in an apartment.
Where in Sweden are you from?
Västra Götaland.
Oh so not northern then.
I thought you lived in like Lappland or Jämtland län or something crazy
Up here in crazy Norrland we're used to cold floors

I would have thought you were the ones with the most heated floors.
Bah, everyone down here in Maryland complains about wanting heated floors. But the people here have problems with any weather more severe than a light rain.

No. They figured by that time it would be a normal occurrence, and people would be surprised if you didn't find videos of your grandparents having sex. I think it was Shm or someone
And that's why I hate cameras...
Has anyone here tried doing the thing where they take a picture of themselves every day? I'm not suggesting that one post a picture here every day, but more like keeping a private record of one's physical appearance and how it has changed over days, months, years, etc. It might be an interesting thing to look back on when you become an old geezer.
Depressing, more like. On a somewhat similar note, I remember posting a gif of a guy taking a picture of himself over the course of 3 months which he grows a beard. I can repost it if anyone's interested...

We had a bit of a storm here yesterday. It killed the power for somewhere around 300000 people.
Reading things like that makes me so glad having solar and batteries. Out here I wouldn't trust the electrical company for a second. I'd have to wait for weeks to get the power back.

Meh, I think it's more depressing if you absolutely can't recall what you looked like on a given day. If you accept the inevitability of aging and death, then your photos will function as a way of preserving history, which I think it useful.
