That's because it is an ass gun: a gun designed to make sure the one who aims it successfully shoots people in the ass without missing them.

Well, I am, indeed, rather short (1.64 m), but that one is significantly longer in size than the other rifles I'm used to. I'd guess the thing you see in the picture has a barrel length of about 90-100 centimeters, and the normal for a rifle is about 72 centimeters. The good thing about that Creedemore, though, is that, since the thing's pretty heavy, the recoil is rather mild (compared to, for example, that horrible .308 I fired once).

And there won't be much hitting any target on my part with that thing: the sights on it don't make it easy to use. At all. For hitting targets, I prefer smaller caliber rifles. Like a really pretty CZ American .22 bolt-action that I got to use the other day. Here's the result of 10 shots that day at 50 meters:
