Then, obviously, it does, as you are the only one who can make the rules :).finlay wrote:Does the opposite side of the road count if I've never walked there before? To me it does.
Oh, I wish that would go for everyone...in which case I'd be too embarrassed to be taking selfies.
I wouldn't call exercising a crazy wagon :). Nor any of the other things, really.I'm also trying to continue exercising and maintaining my weight, as I have kinda been doing for the past year or two.
Basically I'm just waiting to see which crazy wagon I fall off first.

I didn't know I'd be looking for it over 7 and a half years later! And I lost a lot of files when my hard drive broke, which must have been around 2012 - I suspect it was on that. It's not one that I desperately need, but it would have been nice to see it again. (It was me and a couple of friends on our last day of secondary school before sixth form, wearing our uniforms for the last time.)finlay wrote:nah mate the board used to prune everything, so the earliest stuff we have is 2010. why didn't you keep the pic?
I just looked through a folder of photos from old phone that I just remembered about, but unfortunately they start just after the right time.
Still, since I'm posting in this thread, here's a recent pic of me:

To make something like this?Viktor77 wrote:The goal being what exactly?finlay wrote:I'm now trying to take a selfie every day.
Last year, I hardly took any selfies. In fact, I hardly took any photos at all. I think the only selfies I took were me pulling some faces in the forest. Since being on antidepressants, I have been taking photos again and I'm starting to be able to stand looking at myself again. Yay! So, yes, taking selfies can be a good thing. People act like it's self-indulgent, but it's not. For me, it means I'm starting to get a healthy self-esteem again.

Vec, you don't look like my brother anymore. You've both grown up in very different directions.

I think, out of the different websites I've posted this picture on, you're at least the third person to make this joke.Sglod wrote:Are you the old shirtless bloke in the background?

So this is me. This picture is well over a year old, but I don't have any other more recent pictures unless you count the ones where I'm visiting and playing with my baby niece and I look weird.

Basically how I pictured you, save the unshaven look :).

Yeah, I kind of would like to grow out my beard and mustache (or at least wanted to when I was growing up), but my mom wants me to be clean-shaven, lol. So when I was a teenager, I made a compromise with her that I'd grow it out every week until Sunday, when I'd shave it off. That makes today shaving day...

That's probably because she is. Her parents decided long time ago that she was probably more intelligent than them! (IIRC, she climbed onto that table all by herself with no problem. Unfortunately, she didn't have quite as much luck getting back down).jal wrote:She kinda looks much more intelligent than you do )Vijay wrote:Me with my baby niece at a quiet, secluded park
Re: ZBB member photos, part 5. (Something for the weekend, s
She's so intelligent, she'll have learnt the whole of the Malayali abugida before she's 3!
Re: ZBB member photos, part 5. (Something for the weekend, s
She's so intelligent, she's already learned her ABCs in English and has started learning Devanagari despite not even being two years old yet, and by the time she's 3, she'll have learned all three scripts including all the consonant clusters and old vs. new script in Malayalam. (Not the consonant clusters in old vs. new script, though; that would just be unfair. Nobody seems to know which forms used for some of the clusters are old script and which are new anyway). She also knows how to count to eight (if not higher) in all three of English, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Holy crap in all my years on the ZBB I've never seen photos of Jal or ThePole.
Also it's good to see what you look like, too, Vijay! It's nice to add a face to a username.
