I know there's another thread, but I'm not sure I want to resurrect it. So, what are you playing? Lately I've been on a roguelike kick. I've played classics like NetHack and ADOM, and am also trying out newer games like Caves of Qud, prospector, and IVAN. I'm also playing Minecraft on and off. Otherwise, I'm normally playing Call of Duty or Battlefield Bad Company 2. I probably won't get the next CoD, but I might get Battlefield 3. As far as games I'm looking forward to, Skyrim is number one, with maybe Alice: Madness Returns the other game I want to pick up.

And, if I could get my Steam copy to work, Civ III.

I assume Dwarf Fortress. I plan to get back into that, now that I've been playing roguelikes more, it might make sense to me this time.

I have to admit, I thought that was a really nifty idea.

Paper Mario — and I think Mario is at his finest when completely flat.

I just installed a Playstation emulator and now I'm working through Final Fantasy VIII again. It's a good way to take my mind off of the two thirty-page term papers I have due in two and a half weeks.

I've been addicted to Fallout: New Vegas lately. I've also gotten back into playing on a Ragnarok Online hack server.

FNV is awesome. I just finished TES4 like ten minutes ago, and I have crysis2, magicka, trine, and r.u.s.e as current games. I tried X3 but found it boring.

Nintendo 8-bit & Altered Beast on my arcade machine (which was a bastard to set up because the wiring isn't JAMMA-compatible).

Just started Assassin's Creed II, and I''ll play Brotherhood after that. Other than that, I'm also playing Magicka, which is amusing. :)

Doom. So much Doom. I finished the first two Vracks and Bloodlust (14 archviles in the last room, what the fuck), and now I'm trying to find more WADs in the same style that aren't Deus Vult. Fuck Deus Vult.

I'm not playing World of Warcraft anymore. The drive I had it on got wiped, and my desktop (which can run it) can't read the disc, and while my laptop can read the disc, it can't run it (for reasons which are extremely unclear).

I'm pretty sure this is a Good Thing. Though I am going to miss my friends there, and it sucks that I can't get any contact info from them.
