Doreen Lawrence pledges to condemn 'racial profiling' spot checks in the House of Lords.

Hint: the spot checks are not actually taking place in the house of Lords.

[They're taking place at london tube stations. At selected stations, police have been rounding up all non-whites and demanding to see their papers.]

Not seeing the confusion here. Some possible ambiguity between Norwegian cheese and Norwegian fire... but as it turned out it was both.

I was, however, momentarily confused by "Savile float group issue apology", due to three consecutive nouns there also being potential verbs...

I've never had it. I'd imagine it's pretty strong. Is it?

I've only ate it once, and that's been a while, so I may have forgotten the exact taste.

kind of sickly and pasty, reminded me a little of the bright yellow powdered reconstituted stuff that is america's gift to the cheese industry

i did not really care for it much

You guys should consider advertising for the cheese industry.

Technically this might be 'confusing' in theory, though in practice the meaning is clear. Nonetheless, I had to include it as an amusing headline.

no, it's actually not bad, except for the texture. and that is easily solved by eating it plain. it is only awful if you try to put it on things.

i bought more gjetost and i am eating it now. the texture thing gets better if you leave it in the fridge for a week or two.

edit: apparently you're supposed to take a cheese slicer and make very thin slices. that would probably help also.

But... but... but it's awesome. It's the greatest cheese ever.

if you want uplifting or aspirational or whatever descriptions to counter what i said, then you can think of it as like, the noble/true/Correct/spiritual/yougetwhatimean version of what american cheese wishes it could be in its highest moments -- a processed cheese product with Worth for Aristocrats of the Soul
