Today is the 13th, the first post was the 14th. So no, it's not today, but tomorrow, that's the 5th aniversary. Where is JarJar nowadays, anyway?

Time differences :P

Interesting paradox though...it's the anniversary of the thread if you live in GMT -2, -3, -4, etc, but not if you live in GMT -1, 0, +1, etc. times...

Living as I do in the New York time zone, that would explain things.

It's the numinous Otter thread, the ZBB's mascot and one of the cutest animal there is on Earth.

I'm surprised we never made a list of "otter" in various languages. In French, we call it "une loutre", and in Japanese, かわうそ(獺) .

Really (based on rereading the first couple of pages of this thread) to celebrate its anniversary we should be returning to its original topics: namely furries and white-sock-fetishes.

Thus I challenge the next poster to find a picture of an otter wearing white socks (or "better" still, an otter furry wearing white socks).

I disagree. Just because, say, Christianity was once about twelve fishermen following a bearded guru, doesn't mean that Christians nowadays should, right? :) Besides, there are little things on this earth that scare me more than furries. I understand many a fetish, but that's just way beyond me...

EDIT: It's furry, it has white socks:

There, now let's return to real otters.
