It is Nez Perce. Emoticonface wins.

Something Tibeto-Burman probably, but because there's not much info about these languages in easily accessible places, I'll probably never find it without cheating

Even with a little cheating it's hard, but I'm going to say it's Pochuri

Is it spoken in India?

It looks like Sumi.

I'm pretty sure it's Angami-Pochuri if not Sumi per se.

So I'll guess Rengma.

Correct.

That was the only sample of it I could find on the internet at all. Would've gone with Angami but all the pfü pfü pfü everywhere makes it obvious.

Yeah. I'd found your source, but I couldn't find any other samples of the language at all to compare it against. Or any samples of related languages to compare it against, for that matter. Do you have a paper on the language or a book that discusses it?

Speaking of Angami, this sounds like 2 Americans recorded it at their local church (with the alveolar approximant, the aspirated plosives and the English-esque diphthongs). I'm sure it'll sound different spoken, but it's kinda freaky.

The diphthongs maybe, but Angami has a retroflex approximant (and a voiceless version) anyway. While trills and taps are more common than alveolar or retroflex approximants, they do still occur outwith English.

I doubt it. As far as I can tell, Angami really does sound like that -- either that or everyone on Youtube speaks it in a thick American English accent.
