Guess the Language, anyone?
Re: Guess the Language, anyone?
Alright this is my final guess but I'm going to say Cuitlatec since it has the voiceless lateral fricative and /kw/. If it's not this then I'm beat.

Chontal?
I did have a bizarrely similar (to the original poster's) accident about four years ago, in which I slipped over a cookie and somehow twisted my ankle so far that it broke

It's not Zuni is it?

Nobody at all? Fair enough. I was asked if it was South American or Niger-Congo, and I can tell you it's neither of those.

You can tell the same lie a thousand times,
But it never gets any more true,
So close your eyes once more and once more believe
That they all still believe in you.
Just one time.

Neither Hiw nor Sino-Tibetan.
Something like that? This orthography is weird. I can also tell you that /v/ and /b/ are allophonic, and that I think all those nasal + voiced plosive combinations are actually prenasalization.Ai doa nəngam wɛvtinəngandm. Simba ɛunumbulva wulvxoavoi. Doa nəngandomana vɛv.

I'll guess Papua New Guinea, although that's sort of a broad guess.

It is none of the families you have listed.
I will also say that it is spoken on the New Guinea mainland.

Out of them, it's the eponymous member of a subfamily.

North American?
Iroquoian?
[The velar nasal makes me think it's not iroquoian, but I may as well ask]
Wait: do these languages have to be modern and living?
