Birdlang, would you mind please explaining to us how you guessed that without Googling the answer? You do know that is against the rules, right?

You could also take something out of a grammar that isn't google-able, you know.

As for the new thing: is the / a pharyngeal consonant? Because using that for pharyngeals is common practice in Cushitic languages, though this particular language does not look Cushitic it may be a language from that region.

Apparently, it has a pharyngeal fricative. And that is how it is represented. And it is Nilo Saharan from Sudan and South Sudan near another country. And the slash apparently is from Iraqw.

No, I didn't because I found his source.
(posting examples from internet is not a good strategy, I know, because everyone can find your source)

I found his source too and what language it was, but I decided not to spoil the fun and spoil it for the others.

You did.

You won. In this board. Modifying the orthography is against the rules as well. Like opipik did on the other board.

I was sorry to modify the orthography, but there was a googling problem lately and on the other board the same.

Anyway:
dai3-4 bɪ3-4 a2-1se2 bo2-3 be2-1 be2-4.
di2 sa3ke3di3a3 bʋɪ2-1 to2-3.
No googling.

(The source uses IPA, but I found something else in the language written in Latin and followed what they did. This way it can't be Googled.)
