Anyway, what's up with tatapyranga. He hasn't replied here or anywhere. Is he translating? Did he get the text?
You sent him it, you tell me. If he received it, it'll be in your "sent items" folder rather than your "outbox" folder.
Or you certainly should've sent it, anyway.
I'm here!
Funny, I kept monitoring this thread for days and thought it would take some time for the text to get to me. Now when I have 3 busy full days and no time to check the board it arrived.
I'll start working on it today, probably gonna finish tomorrow.
There is only one god and his name is Death. And there's only one thing we say to Death: 'Not today'.

Oh, fine, since you insisted, I poured out my heart and soul, cross-referencing multiple sources from various scholarly publications, as well as seeking the advice of several native speakers of both languages, in order to resolve the deep-seated issues that plagued this text. This preliminary French-English translation lays the foundation for further L2 to L1 studies, with the hope that this work affirms the resulting need of more and abundant funding.

Team A, we defeated you FOR ALL TIME! You will never rise from the ashes of your shame and humiliation!
YEAH! TAKE THAT!
...just kidding. Enjoy the translations =D
Ooh, I want to see the results. I wonder how I did. Wait... where will the results be? Here? The Kneequickie is gone, so all records of this extraordinary game would be lost... FOREVER!
And woah, Finnish infinitives are evil and mean to someone not used to their nuances.
Anyway ich habe the tradução em português gesent. Meaning ist kaputt, but that's not my fault. Good luck to jmcd translating to German.
I will do an English version and send it to finlay, as soon as I calm down and stop seeing ominous infinitives shaped like menacing birds flying around my head.
EDIT: actually, it was not that traumatic. Sent English version to finlay too.

I will be away from home for a few days, and then away again next week. I'm not sure how much Internet access I will have while away, but will try to get time to work on the text when I receive it.
Absolute maximum of 3 days for the last guy; if it has not been done and completely dusted by the 25th I will send it to someone else. If you can translate from German to English, I'll be taking volunteers now just in case.
I did have a bizarrely similar (to the original poster's) accident about four years ago, in which I slipped over a cookie and somehow twisted my ankle so far that it broke
What kind of cookie?
