I managed to have a conversation over a dinner and a walk with a Brazilian lady (we weren't the only two attending that dinner; don't worry ) a while ago, but I don't practice it very often. I did have the entire inflectional tables for regular verbs in my head for a while, though. Not sure if I remember them completely anymore. I'll test myself right away.Taernsietr wrote:@Sko: I kinda do that. However, for me it's much harder to find contacts, hence, I have less of a motivation to get out there and study. But I intend on starting by myself soon enough.
Also, how far along are you in Portuguese? I suppose you could teach me Norwegian if I helped you out with it?
Anyway, I'd be happy to! I will try to refuse to teach you Bokmål unless you also learn Nynorsk, though. Speaking of this kind of stuff, I just got in touch with a Danish guy from some other fora, to whom I'm now writing in Danish. Lots of fun.
All the more motivation to keep it alive.Theta wrote:I started learning Hungarian a while back but I abandoned it for Georgian, which I abandoned for Vietnamese, which I'm actually working on. The diary thing is a good idea, maybe I could do that with Vietnamese; I have an empty notebook under my bed I believe. I'm worried that I might write these things and forget what they say though D:
