That is what expected to be the case, yes. However, I have internet access on the coach right now that I didn't account for and it's easiest language combination possible so I just did it anyway.

LOL Like I said, close analysis... Plus it's in your English translation, "the piece of oxygen to his father", js.

My favourite change was "he is hooting like a cowboy" > "the pants are real".

I knew, that my translation from Bengali would be messed up by false friends from Hindi. নিলাম in Hindi means auction, and আদি which means source also means ancient which is the more common (virtually the only) sense when the word is used in Hindi.

But @Aeetlrcreejl, what does "আসল" mean in the passage?

My favourite is "Miller Beem" -> "The mirror’s radiation"

Damn, I spelled that wrong. It should have been "আসলো", which means "came".

Lesson to be learnt from poor old Hy's fate - don't use texts with characters whose names look too much like personal pronouns!
At least our team made up for that by introducing Mo (or Moi or Amok)....
