Teléfono políglota XII (Polyglottal Telephone XII)
Re: Teléfono políglota XII
there are a couple of minor errors but nobody's really complaining about them...
Re: Teléfono políglota XII

Re: Teléfono políglota XII
i'm partly being facetious, nitpicky and/or an asshole with that, though

Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. You didn't need to change it. I can do Romanian, it was just a rant, not exactly a complaint (I couldn't possibly complain since I did say "any".) But never mind, I'll do German instead.Renaçido wrote:HAHAHAHA I've laughed so hard at my own mistakes. Seriously...
Okay guys, following recent comments, I moved people around and got the following:
...
tatapyranga – German → English
...I thought you were perfectly aware of that.tatapyranga wrote:Oh noes why did I say any Romance language?Renaçido wrote:tatapyranga – Romanian → Portuguese![]()
I mean, you even posted after Risla, and you even used BOTH bold AND italic when you said you'd do any Romance language. So I thought it was alright to give you Romanian, not wanting to teach you a lesson or anything.

I'll have my translation along by midday GMT. Sorry, I wasn't quite expecting the text to come through to me so soon!

Re: Teléfono políglota XII
just checking: I'm doing French → German, right? (I'll be doing a quick review of French in anticipation of my turn, and I want to make sure I bone up on the right language)

Re: Teléfono políglota XII
I sent my Old French off yesterday, and the English today.
Re: Teléfono políglota XII
Grah. I had almost done it when I went to bed last night, and when I opened my laptop this morning, it was gone. How inconvenient.

Yep, you're doing French-German.Herra Ratatoskr wrote:just checking: I'm doing French → German, right? (I'll be doing a quick review of French in anticipation of my turn, and I want to make sure I bone up on the right language)
Meanwhile, I just found out that I already managed to screw up my entire team due to laziness at looking up a good translation for a certain word.
Re: Teléfono políglota XII

It's possible that johntm has disappeared: no activity since the 4th. I don't know what Astraios is up to. :whip crack:
In case of emergency, I could do Spanish→Japanese, but that means "squint at it and call it Latin." You probably want someone else.

Save the whips for later, you know I don't like it in public.hito wrote:I don't know what Astraios is up to. :whip crack:
I'm going to do it now - I've had homework and illness putting me off before now, but whatever.

Is johntm äreo's alternate account or sth? And going from Spanish to English too...
And Astraios, get that done soon. You don't me to get out my whip.

Re: Teléfono políglota XII
How long has john had, because you should think about skipping him and letting someone else fill in Spanish → English if it's more than 3 days.
