This autumn is autumner than the last/the autumnest.
Deze herfst is herfster dan de laatste/de herfstste.

You don't fucking say. But the question wasn't about 'autumner', it was about 'herfstst'. English and Dutch aren't the fucking same you know.Theta wrote:Nothing, Autumner isn't a word.finlay wrote:so how's it actually pronounced?jal wrote:theoretical champion

Ja precies, het was gisteren met al die regen een stuk herfster dan vandaag, nu schijnt de zon. Maar de herfstste dag moet nog komen, en met storm, regen en kou is 't dan het allerherfstst.MisterBernie wrote:This autumn is autumner than the last/the autumnest.

:D ?
Yeah I know, that's why I said "theoretical", probably I'd normally use "herfstig" and "herfstigst", but nothing beats a 6 consonant coda. Georgians eat your heart out :).

He only started posting again like a month ago after a hiatus of years, I believe. So he might as well be new. Doesn't really matter, the habit of starting up old topics is annoying – we don't tend to care if it's just the one or the two here and there, but I think this is at least the 6th or 7th one...Qwynegold wrote:Oh huh, you've been here since forever. I think there's been a lot more than six or seven. But some of the threads were good though. :/finlay wrote:He only started posting again like a month ago after a hiatus of years, I believe.
