Okay, is it some kind of language spoken in Africa then? There are some Niger-Congo languages at least that have monosyllabic words, especially in West Africa, and I think some also have unusual consonant clusters and such.

So if I understood correctly, it's spoken in Oceania but not PNG or the Solomon Islands and isn't an Oceanic language, and it has <s>, which no Australian language but Kala Lagaw Ya has. It also doesn't look like Chamorro or Palauan.
