When I went to the doctor's office, I tried to look at the needle while my blood was bring drawn. I totally failed.

I don't actually know what docto's office is in Finnish, but "doctor house" sounded weird to me. Was this actually in a dictionary? Anyhow, just saying "to the doctor's" is completely normal.
