Agreed. I have translated from Romanian before, in another PT. It doesn't have so much recognizable cognates as other Romance languages (and/or it has too many non-cognates) so that it is hard to me and I speak a Romance language natively.

There's also the issue that FSI is quite hard to fit into the chain because nobody else offers any of the languages he offers, apart from Japanese. Yes, he can go back and forth between that and English, but that would get boring. So I wasn't trying to teach Risla a lesson on the last PGT by getting her to do Romanian, it's just that that was the easiest way to fit FSI into the chain without using too much English.

The other worst people to fit in are the ones that only offer Scandinavian langs and English, because I'm not about to make their lives boring by translating between two very similar languages, so it ends up having to be a link with English. This happened with Åge and Sko on the last one, IIRC. Also, Sko offered Icelandic, so I would have got him to do that, but nobody else offered it...

I mean, you even posted after Risla, and you even used BOTH bold AND italic when you said you'd do any Romance language. So I thought it was alright to give you Romanian, not wanting to teach you a lesson or anything.
