Was? Zwei tage ohne antworte?

What? Two days without replies? Yesterday I hit a biker (f) with my car. Luckily it was only at low speed, and the biker was just lightly injured. It happened when the sun shone in my eyes when I took a curve, and I couldn't see the bike, who came from a shaded street.

"schattiert" is used for patterns, coloring, etc, it doesn't mean that something is actually in the shadows.

Now is perfect weather in Tokyo. From next month, there will be thunderstorms, rainy season, high heat, humidity, etc, so summer is very bad. But frankly thunderstorms are the worst, because I have a phobia. Actually the first thunderstorm already came on Thursday. I hate it!

There's a poor little cat in the garden that's eating a bird in spite of the rain. He looks how I feel, already sick of this 'summer' that never gets to us here. The bad weather annoys me and the cold makes me sneeze. It also made me remember this song in Ladino that says, 'Mother I want to go to Jerusalem', because I want that, where the rain always ends already in April and the first rain of the next season never falls until October. But my grandparents' rabbi isn't even trying to help me with aliyah (immigration to Israel), because, he said, he's going to America and can't be bothered to make an effort for my aliyah as well, but I know he just doesn't want me to make aliyah because I never to go to shul and that in his eyes makes me an infidel, even though I was born Jewish and aliyah isn't dependent on observation of Jewish law. He doesn't have to do any more than give a quick look at our birth certificates, and verify that I'm really their grandchild. I wish I didn't need a rabbi! I hate them all. But the fact that this one thank God is leaving already tells me that there's still hope; I'll be able to talk to the new rabbi at my grandparents' shul, and hopefully he'll be less selfish than the last one and won't delay my aliyah any more. And even though it's raining now I want to go out to the shops and buy olive oil, and then go and drink in a teahouse in the city, and pretend I'm in Tel Aviv.

Well. The minute I finished all that, it stopped raining, so I went to town and it was very pretty with evening sun and singing birds and everything you could want. And now I got back and took off my sock, and noticed that my foot is bleeding seriously but without pain, thank god. Yuck. And it's raining again. Double yuck.

I also prefer this situation. In the UK, especially Scotland, it's too cold, like a hot day is 25°. In winter Tokyo and Scotland are the same temperature, but in Scotland it rains every day.

Men vafan?
WTF? I have a sore throat. :( Even though it has been total summer weather here until today (today it's chilly). Last Friday it was 27 degrees hot.

Pues, por fin vi Gangam Style.
So I finally watched Gangam Style.

(i've listened to covers, but never the original song)

I don't see what all the hype was about, but I think it's an OK song.

I'm gonna go find a translation of the lyrics to complete the experience.

(How do you call a song catchy/say that a song is stuck in your head in Spanish?)

In Spain you usually say that la canción es pegadiza, and similar metaphors: se me ha pegado la canción, se me ha metido en la cabeza, no se me quita/sale/va de la cabeza,

Tutaj pogoda zmienia się, czasami dni będące bardzo upalnymi, czasami będące dni deszczu i burz.
Here the weather changes between being very hot days and days of rains and thunderstorms.

Yesterday I went kayaking with a group of friends. It was great, but my arms hurt. Also, my legs got burnt from the sun.

Volveré hacerlo otra vez!
I'll go back and do it again!
It was about time I changed this.
