There was a good Persian Restaurant in Bonn, but when we went there last time, we saw that it had closed and that in its place there is an Asian fast food joint.
**1) "dicht maken" is semantically possible with things that are physically open, e.g. windows or doors. I'd have some problem with it referring to a restaurant. 2) in this case the building itself was still open, so "dicht maken" wouldn't do anyway.
***I think idiomatically it's better to rephrase, e.g. "dat er nu een Aziatisch restaurant voor in de plaats is gekomen".
****"zit" would be the verb of choice if you wouldn't rephrase it cf. *** (stores, restaurants etc. "zitten" in a location)
Aber Persisch ist doch auch Asiatisch? Oder meinst du Chinesisch?
But Persian is Asian as well? Or do you mean Chinese?
