Well, if you've already requested it, why are you asking now?

He requested "a book on Tocharian" and now he wants to ask which one to hope he'll get?

What's your fancy? There's no good, up to date handbook of Tocharian (A, B or A and B together) in English, so if that's what you're after, you're screwed. If you read French, however, Pinault's Chrestomathie tokharienne is excellent (it is hard to come by, though: I don't want to describe some of the things I did to get this on inter-library loan). I'm aware that there are decent enough treatments in German, but nothing more recent than the 60s. Try googling "Tocharian bibliography" and see if any of the titles grab you.

Why is that? Is it tremendously obscure?
