Ah ha. How did people score?

I kept getting confused when I was given a sample of a Polynesian or a Niger-Congo language.

I consistently get 600 plus or minus 100

I've been able to get up to 850 or so, but I think that was mostly dumb luck. Damn you, Hausa.

Distinguishing Hindi and Urdu based on a couple quick sentences . . . not cool.

The sound quality in a lot of the samples is crap, which adds a fake level of difficulty to this. That aside, why would they list Bosnian, Serbian, and Croatian as separate languages? The Slavic languages are already hard enough to tell apart with only 20 seconds of fuzzy audio.

Played three games, average 800.
The terrible audio wasn't fun, and some of the tracks repeat if you keep playing. But I love the idea of it.

I got 450 this time, but I've done better. Kinda hard to distinguish some of the languages, but the "accent" of many sound the same across language families, so it can be easy to pick one out when all the languages are distinct families.

Got 600 then 1000. The African languages are what got me. Basque would be difficult except for the characteristic Spanish sounding accent, and the fact they seem to say 'Euskara' in nearly every sentence.

I got a string of Bosnian-Serbian-Croatian, Hindi-Urdu, Bosnian-Serbian-Croatian-Slovak once. I mean come on, SERIOUSLY???
