No, no.
I did have a bizarrely similar (to the original poster's) accident about four years ago, in which I slipped over a cookie and somehow twisted my ankle so far that it broke

Be more specific - that term is a little ambiguous, and those ambiguities come into play here in particular.

Is it a Papuan language from Papua New Guinea? Then if so, from New Ireland or Bougainville Islands?

It is neither from the Americas nor from West Papua.

Birdlang, you clearly don't know what any of the languages you've listed look like.

Anyway, is it spoken in Indonesia?

All but Japhug. Which I bet uses a Qiang like romanization.

As far as I know, none of the rGyalrongic languages are written. Though I think I've seen some reference to ad-hoc orthographies in Tibetan.

Is it your conlang? A transliteration of the Voynich manuscript?

I think you can reveal the answer, because it's been 2 weeks.

I imagine this phrase like, meant something. Why would you continue to guess languages that are nowhere near PNG if she said this?

I feel like thanks to hints given I know what parts of what language family to try finding this one in, but my entire library in that area was electronic and sitting on a hard drive in a repair shop right now. And I really don't want to do the 20 Questions game. Maybe we should think about wrapping this one up in a little while and trying a different one?

GUYS!!! I've caught onto something. In the example, there is the word:
Nesescosac wrote:Pa manyighala, lo mapaghana rughu zuizu. Zu pa daki mapa ko ghajia manyighala palei. Tegho, ko tuvila patu, pa suana bazu. Baia telo ba tuvi lova ko tuvi lova data ba alua telo "Hoi" tezu.
This made me think: "Okay, maybe it's speaking of Dutch?" So I did some research and based on what Nesescosac has said, the Dutch East India Company was in Papua, Indonesia. So why don't we look at ethnic groups from that region???

My guess is, is it from the East Geelvink Bay family? If so, Bauzi?

Ah, fuck, I was gonna wrap this up a long time ago but I forgot. I'm sorry! It's Savosavo, a non-Austronesian language of the Solomon Islands.

Haha, yeah, I was a little confused why people were venturing so far away from Papua too. I meant by this that often non-Austronesian languages of the region are often called "Papuan languages", but that term can be a little misleading for those languages that are not Austronesian but are nonetheless not spoken on Papua.

Nannalu had a clever guess - maybe she can take the next round?
