Does anyone know where I can find a list of roots for proto-Uralic and/or proto-Finnic? Ideally not behind a paywall.

Sammallahti's paper Historical phonology of the Uralic languages* includes lists of Proto Uralic, Proto Finno Ugric and Proto Finno Permic stems using his reconstruction. It doesn't go into Proto Finnic though.

I wouldn't say my working notes there count as "root lists", given that they do not provide any reconstructions.

The freshest published list for Proto-Uralic that I'm aware of can be found in a Master's thesis here, though it uses a slightly idiosyncratic reconstruction. (Then again, don't we all.)

Interestingly enough, I don't think anyone's ever assembled a list of Proto-Finnic roots. The closest thing in existence is lists of old inherited vocabulary in Finnish (or, occasionally, Estonian), which obviously enough ends up neglecting Proto-Finnic vocabulary lost in there. That still goes pretty far, though.
