Prot-Algonquian resources

Post by Frislander »

As a kind of follow-up to dhok's Kansas Algonquian language, does anyone know of any online Proto-Algnquian resources?

Heh, that thread seems to have been deleted. EDIT: It hasn't? Oh good, it needed a reboot...the deeper into the rabbit hole I go the more complicated things get...

http://home.cc.umanitoba.ca/~oxfordwr/bloomfield1946/ Bloomfield's 1946 Algonquian sketch is online. Other than that, though, you're kind of out of luck...most stuff is trapped in conference papers. I'd be more than happy to send you a starter pack of papers on comparative Algonquian, though; PM me your email address.
