The search for Israel

Questions or discussions about Almea or Verduria-- also the Incatena. Also good for postings in Almean languages.

The search for Israel

Post by patiku »

We've all seen thise maps that Mormons make sometimes. Have any Verdurians done the same? Do they interpret Rome and Israel as stories like Atlantis, or are there serious attempts to reconcile Biblical geography with that of Almea? I think Zompman wrote about this in the past, but it wasn't in much detail and I can't find it anywhere.

Not sure if I've talked about this before... recall that the Elenicoi realized that they were on a different planet. (There was some doubt at first, but the fact that there were three moons instead of one was a pretty big clue.) So they wouldn't try to fit Oikumene geography onto Almea. But some sort of naive maps for interpreting the Book of Iesu would undoubtedly exist.
