On Saturday I start work again. I don't wanna go. But I won't work on Sunday and I'll finish at around 4:30 on Saturday, so it's ok.

finlay, you mean また, not もう.
You're right about よ. Qwynegold, you can think of it as being similar to English "you know" in the sense that it is either telling someone something they ought to know but evidently don't, and/or something they are mistaken about. In this case, the Finnish independence day is not something we ought to know (unless you're really excited about it and are using it as an explanation for why you are excited).

I want to write more in Latin.

But, I prefer to learn Sanskrit.

Ergo in lingua Latina scribamus.
So let's write in Latin.
Today, I didn't work, and it's my first Sunday holiday in 2 years. I went to Koganei park by bicycle and later I will eat the curry I made yesterday. This is a pretty normal holiday but since I knew I didn't have to go to work, I had fun.

I've also seen in lingua latina, but I doubt whether that's classical. Preferably use the adverb, i.e. the Romans said "speak / write Latin-ly, Greek-ly" not "in Latin / in Greek".Nate wrote:Magis scrībere volō latīnē.
I want to write more in Latin.
If you're going for Latin word order, I think it would be preferable to put the finite verb last here (discere malo)Sed,sanscritam linguam mālō discere
But, I prefer to learn Sanskrit.
I'd use fontes or libri here instead of indicia (which is more like "piece of information, notice, disclosure")Sunt plūria indicia latīnae linguae quam sanscritae linguae.

Or: nihilominusNate wrote:Tamen, latīnam dīligō.
Even so, I like Latin.
@finlay:
1) I'm not sure about dies festus Solis and laborem ire, but I can't propose anything better.
2) You systematically get -que wrong: "X and Y" = "X Yque", so:
ivi, posteaque; in the first instance, I'd rather use atque: laborabam, atque pro etc.
3) IIRC; cum when meaning "since, because" requires the subjunctive, so: cum ... scirem.
Does anyone know an online English (or other modern language) into Latin dictionary that doesn't suck?
And please excuse that I don't bother to indicate length in my alternative proposals, Latin texts normally don't do so, either.
Mamy ładny dzień. Może, pójdziemy na spacer.
It's a nice day. Maybe we'll go for a walk.

Yeah, I don't practise Latin. My grammar is probably too similar to Japanese. I guess I thought saying que is the same as Japanese て.
