Another example of how relative clauses work in Kala.
In this case, if you had marked ke "REL" instead of "TOP", it would look unremarkably like a "European" relative sentence (as ke is at the "hinge position" between main clause and embedded clause). Do you have examples where the difference is more clearly visible (i.e., it becomes clearer that ke needs to be analyzed as a topic marker and not as a relative pronoun?

It does both...

ke serves multpile roles, it's primary is TOP.

EDIT:

na ke tahue nayo muna
1SG TOP nephew 1SG.POSS worry
I am worried about my nephew.

na ke punka ketla inaye
1SG TOP fruit red eat-PST
I ate the red fruit.

Here is a good example.
