I have the same problem with Yoruba. I don't know how I'm going to practice it when no one around here can speak it. I've already forgotten so much ):

I did have a bizarrely similar (to the original poster's) accident about four years ago, in which I slipped over a cookie and somehow twisted my ankle so far that it broke

Try scraping it off with a credit card. Getting it wet might help if it's a hardcover, but I don't know would would happen to a softcover.
Today I saw the bust of Nefertiti.
Then I bought a bike from a friend of mine before she goes back to Iceland.
Then there was a really beautiful sunset. I took a picture of it and sent it to the guy I'm seeing. We hadn't chatted at all today. At exactly the same time, I received a picture from him too - also of the sunset! We both simultaneously sent each other the sunset.
Later, he told me that all the best parts of his day were orange. At work, he made an orange coloured soup and baked a carrot cake. Then there was the sunset. Presumably he also meant me.
And now I have reason to think that my potential stalker (who I had hoped wouldn't find out that I live in the room with the window onto the street next to the front door of the building) might now become a real stalker.
A guy with an accent that might have been Italian rang our bell and asked my flatmate to let him into the building. My flatmate hung up and put the bell on silent. Then I heard him through my window. He said he had lost his key. I believed him and probably would have let him in if my flatmate hadn't already decided not to let him in ... but then it suddenly got creepy. He knocked on my window, swore and asked me to just let him in ... and he used my name. How the hell did he know my name? I was silent. I also didn't move because he would have been able to see movement from outside. He knocked a couple more times on my window and tried to talk to me but I was quiet and motionless. Later, he talked to someone on the phone and someone came and let him in. I couldn't hear it clearly but I think they spoke Italian. The guy who had already creeped me out is Italian and it seems probable to me that it's him. He must have found out which apartment I live in.

Since I haven't had that experience, I'de like to do it, but I think it's more important to see my boyfriend. So I sent an email to my colleague asking if he could change to the 11th. He hasn't replied, so maybe it's impossible. If it's not OK, I'd like to get a seishun 18 ticket and go on a little tour of Japan. But now I'm thinking that's a good plan too. I'm confused!

I hope it's just a one-time occurence, and that he doesn't turn out to be a real stalker. Otherwise you need to go to the police.

I have not posted here in a while. I had an argument with my partner today, I'm still very annoyed but I should say that I am sorry even in this case.

Finally when I fell asleep on the beach in Malaga the sun burnt me because I only got into the sea once, and then I felt ugly, but the burn has already gone to a tan, which pleases me, and now I'm pretty.

Ich hatte "but the bum had already gone to a tan" gelesen (in Arial, "r" und "n" stehen sehr dicht zusammen), und mich forgestellt, das Sie auf eine Naktstrand gewesen war :). I read "..." (in Arial, "r" and "n" are very close together), and imagined you were lying on a nudist beach :)
