Ok, not really, but, he, like, just published an encyclical letter without a simultaneous translation into Latin. The letter was published in Arabic, German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish and Portuguese, but not in the Ancient Tongue. Moreover, the title itself is not in Latin as it has been customary for a long time, but in St. Francis's Old Italian.
Is the pope sending an indirect message that he's thinking of abolishing the use of Latin altogether?
