(There are similarities ... I like what I like, but I'm not wholesale importing vocabulary across with this one. Importing vocabulary from my older languages into my newer ones feels like "well, I can't use the old one anymore - it's over". I don't want to kill Wena. It mostly wouldn't fit in the phonology anyway. There isn't even /p/ or /s/. Oh, and look! "I" is not na. It's ia. Whoooooah! Such inventive! I am brek uot of box!)

OMG, there's the nastratic languages and now the langues d'ia. I haven't decided yet, but I think the what/which/who word in Guaru will be naa. And yet I have (an as-yet monomorphemic) word for jetpack. Priorities. I just really want one.

I haven't decided.

I kinda want it to be a reference to "his language" (meaning me, of course). il being a somewhat archaic 3sg, and ya being a genitive suffix. But, I recently saw that it is a Russo-Slavic version of the name Elijah, so I might just use it as a working name for a while. We'll see.
