Questions or discussions about Almea or Verduria-- also the Incatena. Also good for postings in Almean languages.

I was just wondering if Verdurians conlang? It would be cool to see what conlangs they come up with.

It would be quite groovy if someone in Verduria constructed a language which closely resembled English

Zompist's Markov generator wrote:it was labelled" orange marmalade," but that is unutterably hideous.

Surely no-one is Verduria is that bloody-minded.

It seems to me that Řon Lebië Kestië may have been the
Ro of Verduria--altho it lack's Ro's utter hideousness.

Ro was a rather late entrant in its category of conlang. Many of the first terrestrial conlangs were very much like Ruzheon's.
See
http://www.zompist.com/numbers.htm#conlang for a glimpse at some of the early a priori languages. Not all were classification-based, but many were.
Even Volapük shows some remnants of the a priori mode, especially in its numbers and inflectional system.

We will know that conlanging has truly arrived on Almea when someone tries to establish the Xurnese Salon of Conlanging.
The attempt would fail, I'm sure, but I'm thinking it would make a worthy short story in the process.
