It's the most fun you'll have with your clothes on this holiday season: a visit to Tokyo's traffic control centre.

Not to doubt you, but if I recall correctly to get 34, in addition to having no moral standards, you'd have to be a very tall body-building martial arts master who's been in many fights. Sweet.Krinnen wrote:I can take on 34 kids. Apparently I fight dirty.

It may sound like the premise for a kick-ass comic book, but it's actually news: the Pope's exorcist squads are gearing up for battle. (I was surprised to discover that exorcism has an entry on the Howstuffworks site.)
A surprising, disturbing eye-opener of an article about the historical role of democracies as innovators of modern torture techniques.
This sitar version of Sweet Child O' Mine is indeed sweet.

The saddest fashion magazine ever, via the Tokyo Damage Report, which has jam-packed archives of Japan-related weirdness and diverting chronicles of rawk shows and other events.
What have you changed your mind about?, a question asked of a diverse range of scientists and intellectuals. Lots of fascinating answers (EDIT: okay, some are frustrating and inane -- hello David Brin -- but there's still lots of interesting stuff there).

I'm not tall (1.78m) but bulky, and have learned to use my weight in a fight. Not martial arts master, apparently you only need 2-3 years of instruction. And I have been in >10 serious fights in my life. Two where my life was seriously threatened.Mbwa wrote:Not to doubt you, but if I recall correctly to get 34, in addition to having no moral standards, you'd have to be a very tall body-building martial arts master who's been in many fights. About 2 hours long, an interesting movie about similarities between religions through the ages and/or other things.
EDIT: You'll probably not like it if you profess an Abrahamic religion.
EDIT #2: Oh jeez now they're going into OMG 9/11 WAS STAGED territory.

And it'll continue to be about damned time for a long time yet. Moller is the cold fusion of flying cars - they've been around for ages, and have nothing to show for it except a few blurry photos and an obviously fake plaster cast of a foot-print.

This is pretty normal for the internet really. Just a combination of obsessiveness (which you should be well aware of) and Rule 34 (which you should also be well aware of).Eddy wrote:The weirdest fetish you are likely to see And I thought /b/ was messed up
