Questions or discussions about Almea or Verduria-- also the Incatena. Also good for postings in Almean languages.

A Question FOR Zompist

Post by julianallees »

Hello Zompist I am just wondering out of curiousity whether you are completely fluent in your language Verdurian and you know all the neccesary words to hold a detailed and philosophical conversation? Like when you are speaking in this language (If you can without reference :D ), do you stop every now and then and think, then apply grammatical rules then say it out loud? Or have you mastered your language?

Yours inquisitively,

I can speak it, but I wouldn't say fluently— I have to look up words a lot. I have a good memory but not good enough. :)

(It's mostly lexicon, though; I do recall the grammar.)
