Saimiar has two words for "milk". suvi, a native word, means breastmilk , or milk in the context of feeding young. kimbe is a loanword from a neighboring culture who had cattle, and means milk from some other creature that an adult human can drink. The flower itself is ën [jen]. It doesn't represent purity or anything else, and for that matter neither does any other flower.
Purity is another complex matter altogether... Or not that complex, I guess. The word cris [kr\Is] pretty much covers most uses of the word "purity" where it is some kind of literal purity or unmixedness or just internal consistency (if you disagree with yourself your argument is not pure).

You got me interested, Christoph. What language is this?

Something I use to name places in a fictional world. I call it "Olivine", pronounced /əʊləvɩn/ in RP, or something like [oʊwɫəvɩn] if I say it myself.

The Germanic roots are based on a comparison of English, Dutch, and German, though a large number of borrowings from French and Italian have intruded themselves upon the lexicon. Odd borrowings from Serbian (Imia - "name"), Hungarian (Vehr - "blood"), and Albanian (Lijrre -- "account") also appear -- the result of a former fascination with Austria --, but I am considering getting rid of those.

The pronunciation given would be used in a country called Illyria (not related to the region of the Balkans typically called that -- I saw it in a Shakespeare play and liked the way it sounded, if I recall correctly, enough to use it for several successive projects that all ended up scrapped). The entire planet has the same "language", though the pronunciation can be so variable that speakers from different countries cannot always understand one another.
