If only the presence of a brown girl didn't spoil the effect... :P
She could be Catherine of Aragon (who had Moorish ancestors); I think it's the spectacles that ruin that.
Well, spectacles, and the fact that Catherine of Aragon had blonde hair and blue eyes...

Oh! Could you post a photograph?
In the event that that is not snark, I'll refer you to two portraits of her:
http://www.marileecody.com/sixwives/aragondeflandes.jpg
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Michel_Sittow_002.jpg
Furthermore, you may consult both Weir's and Starkey's volumes on Henry VIII's wives (pages 17 and 11, respectively). Fact is, Catherine had far more English ancestry than Moorish...

Hokulani: looking great, especially in the second photo :) Are you now a film star, then?

Everyone else: Catherine of Aragon died in the sixteenth century. Finlay's exotic female friend can be explained by the fact that early-seventeenth-century European pirates often spent time in North Africa.

Especially in number 2, Hokulani is extremely pretty. (drool)

I need to find a good pic of me fishing... then it shall be posted.

Hi Hokulani!

Me on a swing:

So take this body at sunset to the great stream whose pulses start in the blue hills, and let these ashes drift from the Long Bridge where only a late gull breaks that deep and populous grave.

At least I'm not a puellulus. That would be trouble.

In the literal sense it would be, indeed. :o

But I do have to say, Latin Puellus has a much more preferable sound than Spanish Chiquito* only because the latter sounds like something one eats.

*Is the only other Romance dimmutive I know.

Three new faces (to me, at least) in just one page! Nice!
Me and my friend met up downtown and goofed around in hobby and clothing stores, for a while, today:

What would you like to know?

I go to the "Student Emmys" (College Television Awards) every year in support of the Television Academy Foundation. I have yet to be nominated, but it is a great experience just to be there.
