I can do English-Spanish and Spanish-English, but I'd rather translate the Spanish to English because I'm afraid I'd make a mistake in translating it into Spanish.

It's fine in the dialect that I learned, as the word "teléfono" is masculine. I would assume the same is the case for whatever dialect he speaks.

In that case, I might could add Japanese, Korean, Sanskrit, and Hindi in From and, only if you're really desperate, in To. And I suppose I could translate from Portuguese and Catalan as well.

Just a silly note: I somehow managed to misinterpret this sentence so that I wondered for a few seconds why I had never heard of any language called To.

Mandarin --> English is a possibility, but I would have to make heavy use of a dictionary, so it might not be a good idea.

It's up to you. I just thought it'd be different as the polyglottal has never been ran through a Baltic language in my experience.

Actually at a push I could translate into those languages...I like a challenge, but it could turn out badly!

I think that would just wind up being really painful for the next person in line, though. Going the other way might be interesting, though - translate from a language you don't know well into one you do. We would (hopefully) get more or less grammatical results which were completely different from the original prompt.
