I went on /b/ yesterday and read it through. Then I blinked in bewilderment and went on with my life.

Hey, I read Reddit... but then, many of the posters do fall under any combination of those (even though I obviously do not find the atheist part to be a problem of any sort myself, being one)...

I swear I covered that like half a page ago. :P

I have no problem with atheists at all (just the overbearing, always-talks-about-religion-and-nothing-else sort so common on the internet), and I actually read reddit too, way too much (although I'm unsubscribed from all the default subreddits).

I know you did, but I had not read the last couple pages of this thread until today.

Yeah, those kind of atheists are most definitely annoying, to say the very least...

Gumtree - like Craigslist but has a much greater presence in the UK. It made the news when they axed their dating/hookups service (yet still have it listed on their main page for each location).

Freecycle - free crap you may or may not ever use.

Google Reader - Online RSS etc feed reader/manager. It's the only feed manager I can get my head around and also recommends things (in the manner of Last.fm) using its Explore feature.

Yahoo Answers
- A mixture of genuine, honest helpfulness and Olympic-level trolling.

This is an interesting site to visit.
I think it's an internet rite of initiation to have your eyes seared by at least one shock-site.

Of course, they have to include the ritual chant of 'OH GOD MY EYES!'

Granted, after I posted that I was shown Blue Waffle, which is possibly even more disturbing, so I don't feel very bad about that post.

(You say you don't know Blue Waffle? Go check it out. It's fun.)

The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing.
Seriously, who thought this up? I'm posting it here just to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.

Also, whatever you do, stay away from tvtropes. It has already ruined my life, don't let it ruin yours.

TV Tropes is brilliant; you just need to learn some self-restraint. :P

I mean I know it's a site meme or something, this whole 'it ruined my life' thing – I just think it's a bit old now, people saying that. Sure hasn't ruined my life.

I have repeated an old meme? I have brought dishonor to this board and must commit hara-kiri.
But yeah, TV Tropes is brilliant.

Why does this thread exist when we have the Seahorses thread? They're the same thing.

They aren't exactly, but it is pretty redundant.
