The saturation effect thingy is weird. Also, did they show Augsburger Puppenkiste (and specifically, Jim Knopf und die Wilde 13) in Sweden as well? :D

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about. Is it something in the background in the clips that we didn't think of or did we unintentionally make a reference to something?

I hope you haven't missed the wonderful abomination that is The Room, written, directed and produced by, as well as starring as the main lead, the great genius Tommy Wiseau!

I don't think Mark Russel17 will ever reply... He's just here to advertise that website in his signature so as to increase its rating on Google. Probably he's not even a real person.

(Just like Robert86, BellVanessa, Newton, hKelsey, VStephanie, Cristina, springera, Zombos, ...)

You may be right. All real people should watch the movie then!

Edit: Any AI that happens to pass by should watch it as well. It is the ultimate experience.

Oh! No, I don't think that was ever aired here. I just found this a while ago. That's not the version used, though.

Ah yes, what you have there is a dance version that was released sometime around 1995 or so. Way after the marionette series was released, obviously.

Romantic episode 12!

First guest on the show, after the guy in the last video, is my girlfriend. We've tried to have two others join in before, but ran out of time despite having a lot of it. Ironically, having only fifteen minutes or so on the train station, we succeeded in improvising this. Erik shot it and came up with most of it and edited it pretty much all by himself since he had to go home. I just came with some suggestions.

The fact that I have no idea what's being said makes these things even funnier.

For all I know he could be bravely venturing off to the shop to buy milk or he could be going to Australia for a year. Who knows.

Also I have to ask - at the very end of the "theme tune" where you say Xriolsodat (or something I forget the spelling of) someone in the background shouts "Hwudeen!"

What is he actually saying?

"Xriolsodat" isn't too bad (it's "xri ōsoildath"), but "hwudeen" is really far off. :p It's "dōthaní". Not giving off the meaning yet if you don't want to know.

Episode 13!

Sēonkêrā Hwōistām, ōimnom lārdōanny - Onnōānai!

This one probably contains mostly music and silent acting and not that much dialogue, but oh, well. Despite having a great timespan of five hours before the mall was to close up in the evening, we didn't manage to record everything we wanted to, but it worked out well enough! Enjoy.

That one was the funniest so far.

Highlights were your friend's face at 1:15 and any time anyone falls over.

Conlanging aside these are really good on their own merits. Keep it up, man!

...I just scoured the internet for 5 minutes looking for some Kozea you'd written somewhere that I could work out how to say "good" or "thank you" in. You're very secretive about how the language actually works as far as I can find. :P

Haha. Thanks! It's funny to watch them all in one go, yeah. I do that sometimes.

Heh. That would be funny to see.

I love when Erik falls over after we've been at the tubs. Best acting ever. Also his face when walking to Stayin' Alive in the beginning (I think that's what you mean; I haven't checked what's actually at 1:15).
GrinningManiac wrote:Conlanging aside these are really good on their own merits. Keep it up, man!
Yay! Nice to hear.

I've written thanks in one of the YouTube comments at least, haha. I don't think it's in any of the videos. The sole phrase "good" together with Erik giving me a thumb up is actually said in one of the episodes.

I'm not necessarily secretive (I put up a long text earlier today, with translation, although I was too lazy to gloss it). We're actually even planning on putting up some videos, also with humour in them, but intended to try to teach some of the language.

Anyway, here are the phrases, with some bonus ones:

millîn; good (as a statement neutral of gender; as an attribute or referring to a person, it has to agree with masculine [millînā] or feminine [millîni] gender)
a tōistair; thank you (said on the behalf of oneself only; singular agreement ["I thank you"])
a tōistoan; thank you (said on the behalf of oneself as well as some other people; plural agreement ["we thank you"])
a tōistām; you are welcome (said to one person; singular)
a tōistoth; you are welcome (said to more than one person; plural)
nuwēat; please

Well, I did try to make it look less like yours, but the letter shapes were definitely inspired by it. I posted it here.

It's scary when it's similar to Latin/Greek/Cyrillic without representing the same sound. e: I don't think it's that similar to mine. Don't worry.

Do we really need to, though? There's nothing else on the channel. Maybe we should create a playlist anyway, especially since we're planning on doing more things than just Sēonkêrā Hwōistām on the channel.

You got what you wanted, Ollock!

I've made a playlist!

I figured that if I were to do this, I should do it right, so I gave the playlist a description and then one for each episode too. Guess what? I will translate it all!

'Na ngā koámryandillt? Ezzām yāroan sando hēimo Sēonkêrāe Hwōistāe zíndárrwoa mimmoa!
Dawí ēthair, lō' xr'engildath xraldēār 'lāirār gowâ! A sēonéngath!

Does it need an explanation? This is where we collect all episodes of our two awesome friends Seonkera and Hwoista!
Come with us, and you will get to see beautiful adventures indeed! Welcome!

1: Asto na fēad īm Sēonkêrā naêrîsāen indano.
For the first time, Seonkera shows of his personality.

2: Xrā a wēnyármyā Hwōistā ezzām a sāipraddyā.
Hwoista isn't closed up/shy (about feelings/opinions) anymore having drunk some alcohol.

3: Hōigā Sēonkêrā terro ezzāe a me yōgrā.
Seonkera says something that he shouldn't have.

4: Emmármyēat hyoxô.
No chicks this time.

5: Mīsā kaspōā Hwōistām. Paēngā Sēonkêrā sēonisôinnild.
It's a dark time for Hwoista and Seonkera tries to be of help.

6: Ēad oltā kuthyā toârigā nēhāer ōrāer.
A weird drink from the new country has been found.

7: Murárm oltildā Sēonkêrā Hwōistān, āmon īmpāx ēzoddyí ēad oltildā Hwōistāk tēir gowâ.
Seonkera can't fiend Hwoista, but it does look like Hwoista has found something.

8: Hyintā Hwōistā îso'pprîsānai ermāer. Īm ngôreîmāi tēir ēiz ngaddyôkrā ezzām idd ēzā. Ēlei ngaddyôkrā gowâ.
Hwoista returns to his old school. He sees and remembers a challenge for which he was too short as a kid. He's too short now too.

9: Sēapkā Sēonkêrā kinilltêl Hwōistāk, lō' tōistāpāx ngentēaka sāipraddyēaka.
Seonkera plays a little trick on Hwoista, setting him in a grumpy mood.

10: Ōrod zaldod halyāe Sēonkêrā Hwōistam zendāen ōrāen o Thāerān.
Once again on the train, Seonkera and Hwoista meet a new friend called Thaera.

11: Mīsōprármyām engkwarmyí oltildā Hwōistā wēanōg flarrog do sāiprildā.
It's not always easy for Hwoista to find the right words when he's had some alcohol.

12: 'Na mur mīsîtsām hyintā Hwōistā Îawîsānai zyêgorîsannā, āmon ezzāe lya sēagaittí a sēonneânāe?
Might it be possible that Hwoista will never return to his darling Iawi, despite the fact that they shared such a loveful kiss?

13: Oldoānā hyint raê. Hwaltāe Sēonkêrā Hwōistām onnōānai. Tarr flarr, yarr marr.
A boring day turns fun as Seonkera and Hwoista go to the mall. There are the right clothes and a fierce dance.
