No, no, he doesn't get off that easily. That woman is not being a stop sign; she's just dressing up as one. Durakken said that people would be stop signs in the future age of singular wonders.
The statement was:
Durakken wrote:We could be a male human one day a female dog the next and a stop sign the day after that
That implies two things:
1) In that future age, humans will be able to assume all kind of forms - say, our personality can be extracted from our body and put on a "personality chip" that can be implanted into all kinds of beings and things.
2) People are willing to become stop signs. As the picture shows, even now you can find people who dress up as a stop sign; so you may also find people who'd like to try out being a stop sign for a day (presumably including being kicked by drunks and being peed at by dogs), by having their "personality chip" and some sensuatory equipment installed into one. I can't imagine anyone would want to do that permanently, but for a day or two? People have the strangest fantasies.
I thought your objection was against the sceond implication; if it was against 1) - well yes, then my posted pic didn't address it.

that's actually fucking awesome. I can imagine that being the opening sequence of a movie about a war between polar dwellers and temperate dwellers; there's total darkness, a languid cello piece playing, and Patrick Stewart saying those words as faint shadows of man-to-man combat start to become visible in the screams.
<Nae> YOU KNOW NOTHING OF MIDNIGHT SUN
<Nae> NOR OF THE SOUL OF WINTER
<Nae> YOU ARE BLESSED WITH DAY AND NIGHT BOTH
<Nae> YET WE
<Nae> WE ARE CURSED WITH DAY OR NIGHT
<Nae> MAY YOU KNOW THE DESPAIR OF NEVERENDING NIGHT

<Nae> MAY IT HAUNT YOU IN YOUR WAKING AND IN YOUR DREAMING
<Nae> LIKE IT HAUNTS US
<Nae> I CURSE YOU LEGION
<Nae> AND ALL OF YOUR KIN
and then BAM! a deep symphonic canon starts playing, and the camera pans to give a panoramic view of the world the story is set in.

True, but the context and the fact that the ball "VALES" hits her head makes it funny enough for me (and you can probably guess what it says even if you don't read it, given you know the thread).

As for my English, I still haven't finished the phonological/phonetic description of my idiolect. I have enumerated over 70 vocalic allophones, all with the environments in which they occur, but some details still elude me, like the exact conditions for my /ɹ/ and /l/ allophones...

I actually thought about "imagination" prior to "online", but decided to type the latter.
Oh well, it's only worrying IRL.
