My conlang blog (check first post for latest post)
Re: My conlang blog (check first post for latest post)
Wordpress usually has RSS automatically. Just add a /feed at the end: http://roninbodhisattva.wordpress.com/feed/ – et voilà. This is especially nice if you only want to subscribe to certain categories or tags. Firefox <4 should indicate it with an RSS icon in the URL bar, Firefox 4 has a button which you can place somewhere in the toolbar.

I've had Ronin, Guitarplayer and Cathbad in my tab for a couple days now. I need to actually upload posts instead of constant fiddling with Cwindoià allophony.

I have temporarily stopped failing at life and uploaded a very post on South Eresian inflectional morphology, pronouns and prepositions. Back to work on actual schoolwork. And maybe sleep.

Maybe sometime I'll actually post a grammatical description, but right now it's just a phonology. Link in first post.

I think I must be the world's slowest conlanger, so don't expect much. That said, it's at http://implodingmastodon.wordpress.com/.roninbodhisattva wrote:I seem to be doing this to a lot of people...link?Matt wrote:You all have inspired me. I'm starting a conlang blog.

Re: My conlang blog (check first post for latest post)
Just uploaded a post on South Eresian names. I'll have a post on color terms up tomorrow; the post on those is almost finished. I'll get back to grammar eventually, I just haven't really felt like it.

Just wrote a good 2000 words about South Eresian phonology. Excuse me while I crash like a bird into a window.

Re: My conlang blog (check first post for latest post)
Pretty sure I'm talking to myself here, but I just put up a post on South Eresian statives, transformatives, locatives and verbs of motion.
Re: My conlang blog (check first post for latest post)
Wrong. I'm following South Eresian with great interest, it's just that I never seem to have the time to read your posts in detail right when they appear. At a quick glance, that post about locative derivation looks very cool; I really like how you can combine all those locative affixes. It looks a bit like the (verb-based and highly synthetic and head-final) reverse of what I'm doing in Buruya Nzaysa, which is an analytic head-initial language where basically everything is a noun, so combinatory locatives are expressed by nominalizing prepositions and using them as the object of another preposition (e.g. Ne o lu ɛna ah lo ñire ah lo gu ah lo mlu ɔrɛ, lit. "do-1SG at the under of the before of the right.of of the house stand").Risla wrote:Pretty sure I'm talking to myself here, [...]
Also, your naming system is awesome.
