In Hurga ker Maja, the word for 'lepton' is bozainos [ˈboz.ai̯.nos], from the verb boz, 'spin' (referring to the motion of electrons around the atomic nucleus) and the suffix -ainos, 'subatomic particle', the invention of the eccentric scientist who discovered the proton, neutron, and electron. 'Electron' is arakainos [aːɹɾ.akˈai̯.nos], named by the aforementioned eccentric scientist after the ancient Axonian goddess of lightning, Araknien. In later discoveries of the muon and tauon, they were named arakainos din and arakainos kel, 'electron two' and 'electron three', respectively, with the electron itself becoming arakainos vas, 'electron one', when distinction was necessary.

Much like in our physics, neutrinos in general were known about before their distinction into three generations. They were called sibozainos [si.bozˈai̯.nos], a contraction of bozainos with sikaren [ˈsi.kaːɹɾ.ɛn], 'neutral', to mean 'neutral lepton'. After their distinction into three generations, they were called sibozainos vas, sibozainos din, and sibozainos kel for the electron neutrino, muon neutrino, and tauon neutrino, respectively, by analogy with the charged leptons.

Interestingly, the weak force carriers are also named numbered like this. The general name is rolkanainos [ɹɾol.kanˈai̯.nos], from the verb rolkan, 'throw, radiate', from how the weak force is responsible for radioactive decay. Vas is the W- boson, din is the W+ boson, and kel is the Z boson.

Kti: hsarēton - to agitate, to slowly cause a state of enragement. In its noun form, hsarē, means "an issue that annoys/agitates", thus deriving hsarēdeki from it, meaning "that which causes agitation, that which slowly enrages/annoys". Made a glyph for it ^_^

Next: electrode

(edit: did it - Kti: damǣdeki dai'shiha - that which is a connector between copper and something, that which causes a connection between copper and something (made up of: <damǣ-deki dai'-shi-eha = connect-CAUS copper-INT-GEN>); the verb, damǣdeki-dai'shihaton, means "to connect copper with a non-metal", or rather just "link a metal with an electrode to a non-metal". I need a new glyph for the causative and for "connect"; "connection, physical link" is damǣ now, but the verb is damǣton for something that conencts itself with something else, and damǣdekiton for something that is connected to something else by a third party)

Well, in the Cauldron, the closest thing we have to a grim reaper would be the lady black --> Die lahtmaeden, who claims all things who enter the boundaries of the Russieg forest. There's probably material for a substantial posting somewhere. Meh.

Poswa: I'm thinking tudžu pummunum bum ... the alliteration of all those /u/'s is not deliberate, but it would help the phrase catch on and maybe come to be used as if it were a single word. The literal morpheme breakdonw is "law change.immune collection", e.g. "bunch of laws which cannot be changed", which is the sense of Constitution employed by the Poswob Empire and by the closest empire that has something comparable. Tudžu babipop would be "Ten Commandments" if their religion had one and I'm thinking of giving them something similar to teach young children how to behave properly.
