it's not the large words, it's that it totally ignores cyrillic conventions and uses archaic and regional letters that in reality would never be used. cyrillic letters are much more set in the values they can take than latin letters are. <ы> /y/?

Yeah, the yery = /y/ thing happened because I misread ɤ for y. Also, as for ignoring cyrillic conventions, okay, fine. Maybe I shouldn't have used the iotated vowels. But it was so nice and systematic! What you might have the most reason to complain about is the use of the semisoft sign to indicate pitch accent. Well quite frankly diacritics are bad enough in Latin text and they are even worse in Cyrillic text.

as nort said, cyrillic is much more set in its phonetic values, and the soviet government didn't really care about internal consistency when they were giving a new alphabet for all the linguistic communities that got one, so they wouldn't try to make it balance or anything like that, and they'd probably just drop pitch accent from the orthography altogether (it's as important as stress, and we don't mark that).

I've made Romance languages as source languages for words in Tautisca. This is "Lemba romana", written as per Tautisca conventions, because the speakers of this language don't write it, but use Latin or Tautisca as written languages.

This language is called "Ilan". It's a written language with its own orthography.
There's a third Romance language on Tarra, Məda:n, but I don't have even a basic morphology for it yet, right now its just a "naming language".
