I'm not sure if that's true. I spent most of my time in Spain in Salamanca (a la universidad allí), which is NOT flat at all. I think it only rained three times the entire month.

Going to try and see how the Roman alphabet looks with Newroman (still kakko kari). Might have to make a few modifications.

Indeed. I prefer shorts, even in the dead of winter. My boyfriend (who, I admit, is a very effiminate gay man) prefers all kinds of leg wear. Including skirts (mostly at anime conventions).

The (true) Rotomemi were nomads of the stars, and they had searched for a planet to name (i.e. bestow a true name on and claim as their home.) Out of necessity, they carried machines for artificial fertilization, for animals. The Oksians were... crude, when using the machines. Children were few. Sacrificed pregnant mothers weren't.

Zú... ye-ye-yerí widhoi 'l élí zekíete stíloëlareia. Tetekína kipos Ksreskézos kedobíha visúla slokdtabakan, kwevin yerí shiwezesei. A hapla—mokapla, zeléú—boseíha 'l kebalome visúla, des lemúdú yestalíhé apakan sai. Trúindeia—hemya siní tshítsú oshekú oles linzí títenei írizé. An atshifa klíhas visúla, híéú; fembúkú neptepes mí (alfa-)talkelú. Khé sa koizellikôn alez taltsithepita... Loi sanai oshai élies mohinkin dústebisúa, ekla sai nolí noví melíes épotetiteia kai. Des sai keltalya kladis zeltetíriteia kai, suréú lafurí.

Yes... many, many stories of those events have been written. Life on Ksreskézo was hard on the Slokdtabai ["slaves"], due to many reasons. The soil—sand, really—was rich in metal ores, so metal poisoning was common amongst us. Look—even our word for this (lemúdú) has scant letters. The sunlight was excessive, also; cancer after one (Earth-)hour. And I won't start to discuss the laws... They constructed us to endure there, but we thrive anywhere else. Thus we live for an excessively long time, if healthy.

The machines were crude (as I said). Haplenía Korakta invented a new method, Lilitic fertilization, which is very much like parthenogenesis. We still use it.
