For a little while I've been thinking that Riktas Rammay and its sister languages have branched from a proto-language with a time-depth similar to Middle Japanese. I'm working on the sister languages but haven't finished making them yet.
Edit: Slight correction; Riktas nouns that do not have inherently locative meanings need to be inflected for the locative case before they can take the ablative inflection.

Note: My IPA might be wrong; I'm very rusty. Also because Lazdet has a huge number of cases, I prefer just using prepositions rather than case names in my glosses.

There are "Events" and "Causes". They cluster. Ugly, I know. :/
OK I guess I should elaborate. I have one verb, o, and it roughly means "causes". It's essentially a placeholder for tense and so on. Then there is the "event", the object of the sentence, and the "cause", the subject of the sentence. It's an elaborate game of passive voice, and I'm not particularly pleased with it. It's getting better as I work on it, though.

Re: Help your conlang fluency
[Sorry, I don't have a lot of time now so this will be in English.]
I wanted each part of the sentence--the kálàr and the ol--to be obviously connected. It isn't completely unreadable, but I'm thinking about changing it. Maybe it will get ridiculous once I work out more complexities of my syntax, which will make longer sentences and maybe elaboration on the event-cause thing.
I don't do this in every orthography.
