なんか、it's ok not to bleedみたいな感じですね。 Qwynegold wrote:Theta wrote:Há'át'íísh biniinaa dił doo yá'áshǫ́ǫ da? T'áá'ájíłtso bii' hólǫ́!

Surai-san ga itta yō ni. Dakara kononde shukketsy shinai hō ga ii yo.
Exactly! So you aren't supposed to bleed intentionally.
I think that has a different meaning: more like "it's ok not to bleed" or something. For your intended meaning, better would be "shukketsu suru hou ga yokunai yo"

Ah, right. I'm not very smart right now.

and homosexual doesn't sound clinical in Spanish... I guess that's in English. It sounds neutral and semi-formal.

How would you save others, though, then?! Bleeding unintentionally?
Don't make me ponder difficult questions. I'm too starved. (Fuck it if someone complains about the Japanese not matching the English.)

Nagpapalagay akong lumaktaw.
It's really cold here in Chicago today. Many people are annoyed because they have to go to classes. I think I will skip.

I did have a bizarrely similar (to the original poster's) accident about four years ago, in which I slipped over a cookie and somehow twisted my ankle so far that it broke

Me too. Without I can't see anything. I think it's to do with pollution, because it doesn't happen (or at least less) when I'm in the countryside.

Here in Madison it's also very cold. The temperature is -5 degrees Fahrenheit (-21 degrees C). When I go outside, it hurts to breathe because the air is so cold. I wish I hadn't forgotten my scarf at home...

Danish is suspiciously similar to English. Usually the languages I learn have a large degree of funny business going on that makes it difficult to translate so simply, but Danish seems not to have any of that. Too bad it's unpronounceable...

- How many Chicagos are there around there?

- I don't really know how to explain the difference between aivan and todella, except that aivan is like "completely" and todella is like "really".
- Monet ihmiset isn't technically wrong, but ihmiset is redundant so it's more natural to skip it when it's preceded by a quantifier.
- You wrote "angry". If you actually did intend "annoyed" instead, you could use ärsyyntyneitä.

I get tears in my eyes if it's cold or the wind blows or I sneeze or laugh too hard or if the sun is too bright.

I live in Southeast Texas. If there's a chance to see a snowflake, EVERYTHING shuts down.
It's like we expect a zombie apocalypse to break out everytime the temperature drops below 32 degrees.

Ziz has the coldest heart. I know, because when he says he loves me, the house gets colder.
Jeg vil 32 grader også! Men grader C, ikke dine dumme grader F.
I want 32 degrees too! But degrees C, not your dumb degrees F.

I want just 25°. In Tokyo in summer there's high humidity, so 32° days' nights are also hot and humid. Summer nights don't drop in temperature, so it's very uncomfortable.

It was minus fourteen degrees yesterday. The Spree River is almost completely covered in ice near my place. It snowed today but I slept through the whole day.
Last week I went on a date that I only recognised as such when it was nearly over. I was blown away. I can be completely clueless at times! I want to go on a second date but we haven't managed to yet. He seems really nice.
