My sig

Post by Shm Jay »

I?ve tried to translate my sig into Verdurian, Cadhinor, and Elkar?l. How is my grammar?

I tried to calque my Verdurian translation into Cadhinor and got:

Peruecue ctanul, tersecue futes cum sioppad, Scrifteciles.

Which is better in Cadhinor?

Cadhinor style should be epigrammatic. I think I'd write:

Sadres scrifilasces, pugul cum sioppan.

Scrifilasces is the participle scrifiles 'knowing' with the augmentative -asc-.

I may well have said otherwise somewhere, but looking in the grammar, I don't see a reason to use the ablative with cum.
