< Cev> My people we use cars. I come from a very proud car culture-- every part of the car is used, nothing goes to waste. When my people first saw the car, generations ago, we called it šuŋka wakaŋ-- meaning "automated mobile".

Oh, geez, Span.. Jacqui, that's a very helpful remark, thank you very much. I'm glad you aren't enough of a ditz to just repeat something, as if it was possible that I hadn't heard well. Good thing you're here, I guess. Wanna have some italian food with me sometime later?Jacqui wrote:Sangsom.Torco wrote:sangswhat?

Energy drinks are godawful. I don't think that what I normally drink would make it better, either (limoncello, rakija, and other assorted spirits, but not neat vodka). Plus, biologically, I've heard they can really fuck with your system, and I don't even want to try messing with that considering how small I am (while I'm about 5'5"/1,65m, I only weigh 108 lb/49 kg).
I also dislike coffee. Long time. Got me some strange looks in Germany.

As far as energy drinks go (and they don't go that far for me, but I think I've just jacked up my tolerance to some ridiculous level... once, a very long time ago, I thought I actually needed to stay awake for my classes) NOS is badass. I got through two finals and a term paper today just on one bottle, and this was after not getting any sleep for entirely too long.

I'm afraid I'm enough of a ditz that I'll just have to repeat what I said, as if you hadn't heard it, but with the vital information that I said far too quickly and quietly for you to notice the first time. (That bit is represented in the first post by text so small that even the computer doesn't realise it's there.)Torco wrote:Oh, geez, Span.. Jacqui, that's a very helpful remark, thank you very much. Sangsom is the national spirit drink of Thailand, something like whisky or rum. It's very cheap and it tastes.... well, pretty bad. Since tourists in Thailand tend to consume sangsom&redbull literally by the bucketful, this can lead to vomiting.
Now, any chance of you ordering me a pizza?

They have stuff they sell in gas stations now that you just spray on yourself and then get instant caffeine, or something. Handy for staying awake, and also for committing suicide by caffeine overdose.
